We’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Assistant General Manager to help lead our vibrant all-day food and drink hall. From weekend brunches to late-night cocktails, we’re all about great hospitality, community vibes, and unforgettable experiences.

As one of two Assistant GMs, you’ll play a key role in overseeing bar operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running, and managing bookings to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive, plus benefits. Full-time, salaried.
Hours: 45hrs per week inc evening and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the venue runs efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Lead and oversee all bar operations — from stock control and supplier management to training and maintaining exceptional drink quality.
  • Manage and optimise the bookings process, ensuring seamless communication with guests and maximising revenue opportunities.
  • Motivate and inspire the front-of-house team, fostering a positive and high-energy culture.
  • Monitor operational standards, maintain compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations.
  • Assist with financial controls, including rota planning, stocktakes, and cost management.
  • Step in to lead shifts and cover GM duties as needed.

About You

  • Experience in a senior front-of-house or bar management role, ideally within a high-volume or multi-concept venue.
  • Strong operational knowledge, especially in bar management and service excellence.
  • Confident in managing bookings systems and guest communication.
  • A natural leader who thrives on developing and motivating a team.
  • Organised, hands-on, and solutions-focused.
  • Passionate about hospitality, with a genuine love for food, drink, and creating great guest experiences.
